String Theory Yarn on an EatSmart scale

This week we leave the LYS and head over to the cooking store to look at a kitchen scale.

What on earth could a scale have to do with knitting? Well, if you're trying to figure out yardage, everything. Meet the EatSmart Kitchen Scale and learn how it can make quick sense of your stash.

This Weekend in Maryland
It's finally here! The Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival is this weekend at the Howard County Fairgrounds in West Friendship, Maryland. It's one of the largest and most important fiber festivals in the country, and I hope to see you there.

In the Forum: Hats from Oddballs
Speaking of making sense of your stash, Donna has been hard at work making sense of hers. And she's decided to use up all those wonderful oddballs by knitting hats for charity. So far she's made 32, and she's wondering if you'd like to join her?
