Knitter's Review
June 5, 2008
the Needle Gauge Pendant and a seashell

Last week, my letter carrier deilvered a small box to my house. It contained a slender little blue gadget that looked for all the world like a piece of jewelry or perhaps a keychain.

While it could be either, its real function is to help you figure out what size needle you're using. Let me show you the handy Debra's Garden Needle Gauge Pendant.

This Weekend in Ohio
The city of Columbus will be overrun with knitters for two straight weekends as The National NeedleArts Association's semiannual trade show takes place this weekend, followed by Knitter's Connection next week. I'll be there for both events, kicking off Knitter's Connection on Wednesday night with a State of the Yarn Industry address at 7:30pm. I hope to see you there!

In the Forum: Stories of the Start
Some of us learned only recently, others have been knitting since what feels like the beginning of time. Who taught you to knit, and how has knitting changed since then?
