Knitter's Review
September 28, 2006

frothy brushed mohair

There once was a little girl named Nell. Quiet and shy, she took great comfort in her knitting, and she loved to give away her knitted items to her family and people in need.

There you have the two-sentence premise of a wonderful children's book called Knitting Nell. Jane Cochran tells us more about the book and about ways that we can knit for others too.

Techno Traumas
Last week our Web site experienced a major technical failure that forced us offline very soon after the newsletter went out. As a result, many of you were unable to read Lela Nargi's story about yarn store Brooklyn General in New York. I spent the weekend making major software and hardware upgrades to ensure that this never happens again. I am truly sorry.

In the Forums: Keeping Track
We're talking about different ways to keep all our patterns, magazines, and leaflets organized. How do you do it?

Knitter's Review Poll

Since many of you missed a chance to answer last week's poll, I'm keeping it running for another week. The question: When did you last visit a yarn store?

Participate in our Knitter's Review Poll and you'll see an instant tally of all the votes.
