|We all know that the shoes don't always make the athlete, and the kitchen doesn't always make the chef.|
But can software turn your average Joe or Jill into an accomplished knitwear designer?
That's what I pondered when I removed the shrinkwrapping from the Sweater Wizard 3.0 CD and popped it in my computer for a test drive.
In the Boutique: Calendar Crazy
If you're like me, you like to toss in a few treats for yourself when doing your holiday shopping. That's why this week I'm offering something that'll make your knitting friends and you happy. From now until Sunday, December 19th, order two 2005 Year in Yarn calendars and get a third one free. Who says you can't have your cake and eat it too?
In the Forums: Family Feuds?
Many of us must face this quandary every year during the holidays: Do you knit for family you don't get along with?

For December, I'm asking the Knitter's Review community join me in a gift to the Heifer Foundation.
In the past two years we've collected over $2,000, which translates into four llamas and 12 sheep for deserving families around the world. So far this month we have collected nearly $300 towards this year's donation.
If you're interested in helping and are in a position to contribute this year, you can send a check or money order (payable to Heifer International), in whatever amount you can afford, to:
P.O. Box 1617
Blue Hill, ME 04614
As always, I thank you for your readership and your support. Happy knitting, and I'll see you in the forums!
P.S. Do you have friends who would enjoy Knitter's Review? If so, use our simple Tell a Friend form and let them know about us.
