Oh, lovely! That may just be the project I've been looking for for some beautiful lace weight yarn I got for my birthday.
Take care! Brandy

For those of you who are trying to download the pdf from the direct link and are getting an error message.. that link will no longer work as I found a small error on Chart B (the first stitch of row 43 should be a yarn over and not a knit stitch). I've uploaded a corrected version of Maelstrom and also a Errata Maelstrom pdf for those who have the version with the mistake. (Sorry about that!)
This link ( http://talullahsworld.wordpress.com/2008/08/26/lifes-little-storms/ ) should work however, even if I delete the current pdf and upload a new one. You can also go to the patterns and errata page tab on my blog and you will find links to all my patterns as well as any posted corrections. Again, I apologize to those of you who may have had any difficulties due to the error and corrected pdf issue.
If anyone needs clarification on the pattern or any other help, just give me a shout and I will do my best to help in any way that I can!

Wow, that's a gorgeous shawl. And Christine, I appreciate the care you took to fix the error and upload a new file. It's very generous of you to share this pattern.

I want to thank each and every one of you for your kind words and compliments, they really mean a lot to me. Maelstrom is my very first shawl design and it's really encouraging when I read comments like the ones I have found here ;) I do hope you will all enjoy it and if you have any questions or need any clarifications, just let me know and I will do all I can to help!
Thank you again! You've really made my day! Christine |
