just at the planning stages and want to know where is the cheapest place to get knitting supplies online. I would like to work with aran wool and knit Irish styles.

Where the best place to get chucky white aran wool. Anywhere on the UK should deliver ok to Ireland. Also needles used for this sort of work.
I am a noob but looking for a point in the right direction.

The best deals that I have found close to you are Wingham Wool Works and Texere, both are in the north of England and both ship. Also a good source at good prices is Coldspring Mill in Yorkshire, but I don't know if they ship, I've always bought in the shop and carried home.

The shops I know in Dublin (don't know where in Ireland you are) carry mostly imported wool. I know I've bought wool in high street shops in Donegal and Galway, but that was several years ago.

Hope this helps!

Deramores's ( has free shipping if you spend a certain amount. The link is for the Republic of Ireland page but you can also change it to the UK page (not sure which part of Ireland you're in).
