I am a knitter, spinner and dyer from Michigan who just returned from a lovely weekend in Maryland communing with the sheep at the Sheep and Wool Festival. I have been knitting on and off for 35 years - mainly on for the last 20 years - spinning for about 10 years and dying for five years. Being able to cloth myself and those I love is one of the ultimate satisfactions - right up there with being able to feed people healthy, tasty food. After all, isn't that what life is all about: Family, friends, fiber, fun and food.

Another Michigan resident who enjoyed the MD Wool Show - though I'm still in the area visiting friends. It was a perfect day, weatherwise, and lots of inspiration everywhere. Had a great time, as I do every year at this show and have some very special roving to spin when I get home.
