I want to buy a really good set of interchangeable needles. I have Knit Picks now, but not really happy with them. What are your favorites?

I have Addi lace interchangables. I love them. You can't even tell they are interchangables while knitting -- no issues with the stitches getting hung up on the joins and the cables don't seem to get stuck curled up like my non-interchangable. If that makes sense.

I have Addi Lace Clicks, too, and really like them. I didn't want something you had to tighten up with a tool, because I figured I'd lose it.

Hiya Hiya interchangeables are by far my favorites, and come in a number of tips (bamboo, stainless steel, sharp/lace) ... I also have Addi Clicks and they are always my last choice, as the fibers in my luxury yarn ALWAYS catch on the (IMO) inferior joins. I've bought 4 different sets of the Hiya Hiya, because I love them so much, as well as a few extra cords and tips.

I hear you on the Knit Picks (and that other brand, Dreamz or something, made by same company as KP) ... terrible needles. Yes, I've tried them and two out of three ended up in the garbage.

I have Addi's and have never had a problem with the joins. Do you know that you can buy individual cords and needles? You could buy one cord/needle pair (of Addi's, anyway) and try it out without shelling out an investment in the entire set.

Second vote for Hiya Hiya. I have the metal sharps. Smooth connection, stays connected, nice tips.
