I have four hanks of Louet MerLin sport weight yarn (Pink Panther color) left over from a baby blanket; 250 yards per hank. I'd love some ideas for using this exquisite yarn.

I would make a shrug or bolero, to wear over dresses. (Mostly because I really needed one last summer and ended up buying one, to my chagrin.)

Ah ... I think I found the perfect pattern on Ravelry, and for this very yarn and free, to boot! It's the Buttercup Shawl.
