Help!! I've bought a beautiful nostepinne (Crazy Lanea, this is your fault!). But now I have to figure out how to use it. Any thoughts, suggestions, or youtube links welcome!

Pretty easy, really. You kind of zigzag the yarn up and down while turning the nostepinne, and you get a ball of yarn. I don't know of any links, but someone else surely will.

Hi Amarula,
The YouTube video on using a Nostepinne that I liked was 11_Garn aufwickeln: Nostepinne/ Wickeldorn. It is not in English, but the video is quite detailed. The entire video is 9:14 minutes, but the wrapping portion is from 2:00 - 8:00. It took me a while to be relaxed while I wrapped. Try to remember not to pull your yarn too tight. The first dozen skeins I wound were egg shaped, but I finally got the hang of getting the yarn to move outward with an edge the way the video yarn ends up. These are much easier to stack. Good like. I find it very relaxing and rewarding!
