I am curious if anyone else finds the pace of baseball so alluring to knit to? I mean the televised games, not in person. I never knit at the games (too messy - all that jumping up and down and cheering), even though I have friends who attend only the Stitch-and-Pitch games. But on TV, the commentators are so complete and descriptive that I can knit and watch at the same time. Baseball also has the lovely attraction of having 162 games per season, not counting play-offs, so there are lots of opportunities. GO ROCKIES!

| And the nice thing is they always replay the key plays, so if you happen to not be watching when someone hits a big one, you'll still get to see it. Sometime I prefer to listen to radio coverage when I'm knitting since radio announcers provide much more details on what's happening as they know you can't see. (Go Red Sox!) |

Yup, you just have to look up when you hear the announcers get excited; you're pretty much guaranteed to see several replays of whatever happened.
It's almost scary how many of my FOs have been knit under the influence of the Yankees :-)
