Today my heart is heavy with prayer for the thousands of souls lost, and those left behind with sorrow filled hearts, including those who witnessed and responded, for those who endured the unendurable.
I pray that our leaders use this day to recommit themselves to truly representing the best interests of the citizens of out country.
I remember that freedom and life are fragile and although we are not perfect, I love that I am an American.
I hope that tomorrow morning, when a new day begins, we continue to honor those lost by not taking one minute for granted, and doing the best we can each and every day.
