My MIL has moved into assisted living and we are cleaning her house. We found 2 knitting machines. One is a Brother KH-840 that still is in the box and a Phildar Big'Phil that has all the pieces and patterns. I really don't know anything about the machines and would like to sell them. My SIL and I would like some help to know what to do with them.

Check e-bay and see what similar machines are going for. The other option would be to ask on a machine knitting board on ravelry OR the yahoo machine knitting group.
I've no idea what you should ask. but people love their Brothers.. even tho they aren't made anymore.
