Taking opinions on using linen for a special baby blanket that could be machine washed, stay soft, and double as a superhero cape, a fort and a best friend ever. The baby lives in a hot climate . . .
Anyone used linen this way?

OneStitchAtATime made me the most wonderful linen washcloth I use EVERY night, and wash all the time, and it is the next best thing to an adult blankie. I adore linen for this use. Also had very good luck with Green Mountain Spinnery's Cotton Comfort, which is really on the light side of worsted and turns into that favorite-sweatshirt feel nicely.

It would be lovely, wear like iron, and set you back a pretty penny.
If it's what YOU want to make, then GO FOR IT!
