I have been an avid knitter since I was in grad school. Worked at a store in Austin Tx called Donna's Yarn Barn. That is where I learned to fix people's mistakes and in turn, learned how to knit. I had a great time expanding my horizon in my knitting. I have knit a Fair Isle (with steeks!) and learned so much from that experience. Lately I have been knitting preemie caps for our local county nicu unit.
I also knit healing shawls for people I know undergoing chemo.
I do enjoy reading all of the Knit shop mysteries!
That is all from El Paso!

Hi Ellenita, welcome to the KR forums!

Reading your post reminded me I might have missed a few of Maggie Sefton's books. This would make good travel reading :)
