As members join and contribute to the forum, they also earn their way to stars with each post they make.

You don't win a prize the more you post, and you don't gain greater value on this planet as a human being or anything -- these stars are just a fun feature of our forum system. We always hope people will post for the sake of posting and not just to accumulate more stars.

The star number (and color) varies with certain quantities of posting.

Red stars: Me (Queen Bee Clara and nobody else, bwooo-haa haaa!)

Yellow stars:
5 stars = 1000+ posts (Permanent Resident)
4 stars = 600-999 posts (Seriously Hooked)
3 stars = 350-599 posts (Gabber Extraordinaire)
2 stars = 100-349 posts (Chatty Knitter)
1 star = 50-99 posts (Warming Up)
0 stars = 1-49 posts (New Pal)

Little did I know how quickly people would reach the 1,000+ post count! I'll have to switch to a new system just so we can add more stars.
