It would be really nice if when people filled in their profile they had to put in their location. Just the state or country. I love seeing where people are from. Maybe this could be a mandatory area. I can appreciate they might not want the city but the state couldn't hurt could it.

In the am when I come on KR I love seeing where everyone is from. Some am like this am there was only one from USA. I just think that is wonderful. I can go all over the world without leaving my chair. Just a thought!

Yes, yes, yes, I agree 100%. By just giving the state you are in does not reveal any confidential information that you don't want others to have. Thank you for bringing it up. Sue Southeastern Massachusetts

Roughly what part of the state would be nice too. A lot of Wisconsin, for example, is 5 or more hours away from me.
