Hi y'all. I just stumbled across this forum and would love to join your knitting group some afternoon. If Sept 23 is still a date, I'll mark it on my calendar.
for the record, I'm a life long Lawrence girl, married, two kids, etc, etc. I'll give you the full scoop on the 23 if you are interested. |

Really glad to hear ya are gonna join us on the 23rd! We have a great group of gals, altho I am biased LOL Ever been to Bistro Bellas? I think its an awesome place, wish I
lived in Lawrence, I would go there more often => Am a Shawnee gal myself. We actually have gals from Topeka, Baldwin and even Lansing that come to the get togethers.

| I just moved to Lawrence and am trying to connect with the local knitting/spinning groups. Would it be possible for me to join this group? Also, are there any spinning guilds in the area I could contact? |

You are more than welcome to join! We actually have a gal who spins - altho she doesn't spin every time, I am sure she would be more than happy to help ya with any questions and such. I am not sure about any spinning guilds, tho! I imagine there have got to be some around - if you come tomorrow, you could ask the gal who spins. She may know =) Otherwise, I am sure you could post somewhere on here and find one or people willing to start one!

Seriously tho, anyone is more then welcome to come on by this Sunday the 16th at 2 PM. We will have the usual big table in the middle reserved for us to gab, knit and cause general mayhem at Bistros Bellas on Kasold/Clinton Parkway =) Its back by 'Beauty Brands' if ya are havin' a hard time finding the place!
