A lot of resolutions had to do with sock knitting this year, and several folks are saying this is "the Year of the Sock"... so that got me thinking.
I don't normally just send folks right to my blog, but the idea is there, so head on over and let me know what you think!

I'm in. I have five pairs on needles right now, so chances are pretty good that I'll finish at least one of them!

Pairs is fine, but they'll be counted as two socks. You can e-mail me after 5 pairs if you want, however you can best keep track. I'm only thinking of the total number.
Of course, feel free to spread the word, but I'll be doing the "official" reporting on my blog, so the numbers have to get back to me.

how fun! I'm still a slow sock knitter, but I have a pair on the needles now!
I don't smoke, I knit. It relieves stress and tension, smells better, I don't have to go outside to do it, and it won't give me cancer.

I'll try to do updates here to remind people to let me know, since I'm sure folks will start to forget after a while... but I am interested to see how many we do!

Great idea! I'm in, I've cast on socks using the yarn that Lin sent me during the round robin (Hi Lin!). After that I have some Fleece Artist and Socks that rock scheduled.

I'm in, also.
My very first pair (ever) is otn. (You're right: Lots of us seem to have decided that this is the year of the sock...the first sock.) And I have at least two other pairs in mind -- one Koigu, one Shepherd's Socks. And, oh yes, one Socks that Rock. So make that three.
What a fun idea. Keep us posted!

Oh Amie, why couldn't this have started three months ago when I made 12 pair of socks for Christmas? I don't think I want to make socks for a long time now.....well, not too long.
