| Okay, this is my FAVE felted tote. There's a purse pattern in the Little Book of Big Accessories, by Rowan. It's blue and white striped purse in the book. It's also, for some Rowany reason, knit on straights. I converted it to a circular pattern, used 100% wool, and felted it. It is soooooo cool. If you follow the directions exactly, you will have more of a purse than a tote. So, just increase the number you cast on and then recalculate when you get to the handle section. Also, I would double strand when you get around the handle region. Burly Spun works REALLY well. Good luck! |

I know someone already put a link up to this bag but I would have to say it is my favorite:

There is also a really cute felted bag in Stich n' beach Nation, with a letter you can put on it. Use my sites link to buy this book if you already don't have it...it is so fun:

The book "Pursenalities" has felted bags in several different styles. Not free- but a great book

(hristinac, I will always remember your name as the person who knows where all the patterns are on line. How do you do it? I start looking at all these and get so confused. You go girl........I love it and am envious.
