At Goodwill today, I found a pair of old Boye needles for 99 cents, and I couldn't pass them up. They seem to be made of the nice stainless steel that Signature needles are now made of.

This pair is US6, and about a foot long. They feel good, and I think they will knit well.

I have a large collection of "old needles", don't use them that often, but they knit just fine. I tend to prefer circs to those 14" straights. That was quite the bargain!

Great place to shop -- except I never find DPs or circs which I like.

14" straights are perfect for small jobs. I am a right handed continental knitter, and just hold the left needle in my armpit just about! Lol
