I bought this lovely hand-dyed yarn at a fiber festival. The sweater I was working on was not coming out right so I frogged it. I have spent so many hours trying to untangle it, I'm embarrassed, and there is still lots more to go. It's incredibly knotted up.I hate to lose the yarn, and I doubt I could finish a sweater with what I have.
Suggestions, anyone?

There is a Group on Ravelry that volunteer to untangle. You could check them out.
Not sure how you're frogging but just in case you're not doing this, I roll into a ball as I'm ripping out.
Or maybe it's the yarn? Does it have a mohair in it? That makes frogging much harder.

If you have a ball winder, you could use that. That's the way I frog. No tangles and a neat cake when you're finished. If you don't have a ball winder, though, rolling into a ball as you go should accomplish the same result.

If it's silk, you have to be particularly careful. Silk *loves* to tangle, even with a ball-winder.
