Actually it is pretty good yarn and fairly never ending. And it's available almost everywhere, too! I love the sock yarns, though the other things they make sometimes tempt me.

Lion Brand Wool-Ease Chunky makes the warmest sweaters, they're machine-washable, and the cost doesn't break the bank!

Oh I do love Wool-Ease! It also makes the best little bed socks, and warm hats, and doggie coats, too.

Oooo, someone else who makes and uses bed socks. I made some for my mother and just put them under his pillow w/o saying a thing. She loves 'em.
