While replying to a post from Henya ("Knitting a Black Hole"), I suggested that she secretly knit a small project with some gorgeous yarn, that no one on her blog knew about!
But, she had to hide it from herself, too! (for ethical purposes) But now I know I must ask the question of this amazing array of Knitter's Review Members:
How can she hide a small knitting project from herself while she is knitting on it?
I suggested that she put a pillowcase over it while knitting, or maybe sit herself in a dark closet, but then I ran out of enabling data.
So I need your help. Can you think of other ideas for knitting a totally pleasurable small project while hiding it from yourself?
So you don't go back on promises made to yourself and a gazillion readers of your blog.....

Only knit it while a passenger in a car.
Or waiting in line.
Or waiting for an appointment.

I heard about a young woman who loved knitting so much she knit with her feet in addition to hands to double her output (true story on the local news). Sooooo...... I guess if you knit with your feet you would not necessarily need to watch what you were doing !?! judy |

Sometimes if I tell myself something over and over I will start to believe it, even when it's not true. Maybe while she was knitting she could just murmur under her breath, "not knitting. no, not knitting at all..."
he he he what a fun thread, Anna.

She could knit with a paper bag over her head. That would be a lot easier than hiding the knitting in a bag to knit it.
