Elizabeth's long-awaited opus to garter stitch is finally here. Imagine decades of sketches, jottings, and notes that have been carefully curated by her grandson Cully (Meg's son) and assembled into a new book. It's called Knit One Knit All (I heard mumblings that an alternative title was to be "Knit One Purl None").
It's not a "how-to" book on garter stitch, it's EZ's personal creative riff on garter-stitch. It also includes some gorgeous watercolors by Elizabeth. Here's the review!

Great review, Clara! I got goose bumps looking at the poll results--when I voted 91% knew who EZ was. I think there should have been one more poll answer though--Been there, done that, and have the book! It is indeed a lovely book and Cully should be very proud.

On my short list of books to take to Afghanistan is The Opinionated Knitter. I'll probably add the Almanac and now I can promise myself the new book when I get there! Kind of a welcoming gift for myself from Elizabeth. That's the kind of incentive that will truly help me get through six weeks of training beforehand! Thanks, Clara, for the great review.

I would have wanted this book anyway but Clara's review made me want it even more. I went right from her review to order the book and can't wait for it to come.

How do.
So I guess I'll take the fan club mantle & head back to EZ land: how cool was she?! What a pioneer on so many levels, what an enthusiastic knitter who spoke her mind & forged some new trails, what a family member who inspired her offspring & then their offspring. What a legacy.
Thank you, Clara, as always for bringing us all these wonderful reviews & wonderful news. Your review is lovingly written & beautifully worded. Your appreciation for EZ comes shining through loud & clear. Thanks too for sharing your admiration & respect & love of EZ.

I've been anxiously waiting for this to come out. My copy is (hopefully!) on its way. I wish I had discovered EZ 35 years ago when I first began to knit.

I bought the book, and it has some simply wonderful patterns...The slippers with the pointy toes are on my list as soon as I finish my current knitting project.

I especially like the second hat on Jared's blog!
I got my new EZ book two days ago, and have been pouring over the pictures. Though I really shouldn't start yet another project, I feel one coming on.

There is a definite Bohus Knitting feel to EZ's hats, and the crown of the second is ingenious. I hope to be able to make one soon.
