I wish! Clara Parkes and Barbara Walker? And a few other knitters? I wish I had more vacation time!

I'm in! And I'm doing a three-hour cashmere swatchstraveganza. It's going to be seriously decadent. Please, do come.

It kills me because I can't make it!!! I will be in Chicago that week because of work, otherwise I would definitely take time off to learn from the luminaries.
Clara, please twit a lot while you're there (and at the Sock Summit too! And every where you go! That way I can raid your stash when you're away...)

I'm so there. It's in my back yard, how could I miss it? Hurray! I knitted in cashmere for the first time last week, for mother's day, and omg. Clara, I may have to come and say hi, and join you for the cashmere class... Clearly I'm going to have to take time off of work...

When do you think they will open it up to pay-per-individual-class? I wasn't ready for the "whole weekend package" when they opened up the registration.

After some initial sticker shock, I decided to take the plunge. I am officially signed up for over 24 hours of classes, lectures, a Q&A, and the Barbara Walker keynote, all over 4 days. It's going to be insane, and I think I'm going to love it.

Fantastic! Let me get in my rocking chair and tell you how much this reminds me of a young lady named Clara who did a very similar thing back in 19-ott-long-ago, way back when Stitches was in Burlingame and the Internet was in its infancy. Beware where this may lead you.

AWWWWW. Thanks, Clara! So far, I'm lovin' where my new knittin' thing is leading me. (Oh, and I'll see you in Cashmere class! I can't wait to play.)
