Anyone planning on going to this? I wasn't planning to, but the closer we get, the more I'm wavering..

I really want to go - I have family in Portland so that's a convenient excuse for the trip west... but mostly I just really want to go!

I'm teaching, too, though I am still in awe of the amazing company that I will be in. I just hope that my topics are interesting enough to attract some folks who are registering!

I'm looking forward to seeing all of you who make it as well - I'm sure we're all going to have a great time.

I'm in! At least I got some of the classes I really wanted, including Clara's talk, "Sock Yarn Stories." Can't wait!

Shelia, you teach very interesting classes. I've seen your class listings here and there on the internet, as I prowl for fiber events to attend. I'm sure you'll be chock-a-block. Have fun!

I am going and involved in all kinds of extracurriculars, too (like the Brewfest). I went to SS09 and had a blast. Even if you did not get into a class, it is worth going for the market and the atmosphere.

I really hope I can go to Sock Summit one of these years. The irony is that I'm going to the West Coast (Seattle) the week before, so if I'd really had my wits about me I might have been able to swing it. Oh well, something to look forward to, right?

Clara...I am so happy I got to meet you IRL. I loved your review of SS in this weeks Knitter's Review. It really took me back...

I also wrote about my experience: http://merrykarma.blogspot.com/2011/08/sock-summit-2011.html

It was awesome.
