This is not a knitting question, but it does affect how I get to Knitter's Review. I've been considering changing browsers from IE8. I'm running Win 7 as an operating system. I'd like suggestions or warnings. Thanks.

| Try Mozilla Firefox. It's free, and I haven't used IE since I started with Firefox. |

Try Chrome. According to my son, the computer no-it-all, it's the browser to use.

Chrome is Google and I am a little, shall we say, po'd at them recently, but I do like Firefox. I use it mostly.

I use Firefox as well. Chrome is new to me. And, I see that I misspelled a word again--no should be know--sorry.

I have Windows 7 now and still prefer Firefox. I haven't been able to access KR via my e-mails since my old computer crashed last May. I used to get the whole newsletter. Then I got newsletters that had links, including the polls. Now I don't have links anymore. But I don't know what that is due to.

My kids tell me Firefox has fewer problems than IE. I used it when I had a PC and I use it now that I have a Mac.

Firefox here, too. My son suggested I try it last summer. Never looked back. Love it!

Detest IE in it's latest incarnation - I can't get many of my favorite knitting sites to even load! So I switched to Firefox and love it - no problems at all!

I loaded Firefox yesterday. My SIL loves Chrome, but he's an IT guy, and I found descriptions that used the word "intuitive," which usually means you need a junior high student to explain how it works because there are no instructions and I don't have one handy! My daughter is using Firefox at home and Safari on her I Phone. My son is using Firefox, I think.
