I have, and I love it!

The tutorial is excellent and easy to follow. The result is a strong, symmetrical buttonhole. Beautiful!

Mertle, I recently looked up this technique in my Vogue book and thought it was fabulous. I have a buttonhole band I need to frog and re-do and I plan to use it. I've always thought my buttonholes were weak and messy looking so I'm hoping this will do the trick, glad it worked out well for you.

Also, that is a great website link you posted!

Thanks for the link! I'll see if I can use it for my cardigan project.

I hope y'all love it as much as I do. I've been using a 5-stitch version for the thumbhole on some quickie fingerless mitts I devised for gifts. Now I can even do it without looking at the video!

Does it make sense and is it possible to use the Tulip buttonhole on a baby cardigan?

I am going to read up on it and practice it over the holidays. It does look like a good alternative for one's "knitting repertoire' !
