Last year, mine were mostly socks, so they were easy to count up. This year was wild and varied. I couldn't have kept track of them all without having taken a photo of each one. They are:
10 pairs of socks, one pair from my own handspun yarn
3 tiny socks for my small Christmas tree
1 tiny sock for a sock blocker keychain received as a gift
2 soaker/sockie sets for babies
1 long-sleeved pullover sweater, with hat to match
2 pullover vests, one knitted with my own handspun yarn
one 13” square, felted mirror cover
felted tote for my Denise needle set
pouch for large, extra needles that go with the Denise set
2 knitting needle cozies
1 pair legwarmers with matching mittens (a headband awaits)
eye patch (I had surgery in September)
2 coffee cup cozies
2 helmet liners for Knitting for Our Troops
1 microwave mitt
1 wimple
1 felted purse
4 market bags
1 felted, tall bowl with Southwestern design
4 Moebius scarves, one from my own handspun
4 Moebius collars
3 Moebius hats
2 Moebius scarf/hat sets
7 trifold-rim Moebius bowls
1 fivefold-rim Moebius bowl
2 sevenfold-rim Moebius bowls
1 ninefold-rim Moebius bowl
2 fully Moebius trifold bowls (yes, bowls made out of Moebius strips and so are one-sided! )
1 Moebius sweater/tunic 
3 tatted ornaments
numerous knitted samples too mundane to name
and a yarn chandelier out of four knitting looms on which to hang yarn for future projects!
(Hmmm, almost sounds like a knitter's version of the 12 Days of Christmas!  )
Anyway, 71 projects completed, 70 not counting the yarndalier. Yikes, did I really knit THAT much in one year?! At the moment, my first cardigan is in process, and I really DO need to finish the pair of "Passacaglia" socks that was to be my DH's >2008< Christmas gift. Plus, a purse is in process for a friend who hasn't had time to celebrate Christmas yet. We'll catch up with her at Epiphany.
Beyond that, well, I have a couple sweaters designed in my head but not even swatched yet. My USOs (UnStarted Objects) are all hanging on a closet pole off the yarn room. I put the yarn in bags with handles, loop the handles around the pole, stick one handle inside the other, and put a wine cork in the supporting handle to hold the bag on the pole, out of the way of my cats.

Holly smokes, Ceil! That's quite an accomplishement, you are amazing! My list look wimpy compared to yours.
Here's my humble list:
41 felted slipper clogs for people
1 slipper clog ornament (miniature)
1 child's einstein coat
1 man's cardigan
5 snowboarder hats
2 scarves for soldiers
My sewing projects were:
2 little girl dresses
1 quillow
2 pair slacks (for myself)
1 jeans jacket (also for myself)
6 receiving blankets
1 straight needle case
Half a dozen miscellaneous household projects:
a printer cover
a neck pillow
a dog bed
..... etc.
AND I traveled over 12,000 miles while doing it :-D

Gee whiz. What I've got?
4 pair mittens (having never done or needed them before)
1 pair fingerless mitts (my own design, based on a picture of someone else's)
1 pair socks
1 poncho
4 amigurumi, cat, mouse, cthulu, totoro.
1 sewn Halloween costume, per pattern and including zipper (which I haven't done since Jr High)
2 daffodil blossoms, odd color, meant for a white elephant gift exchange
2 studies in crochet, based on a Sierpinski triangle
1.5 snowflakes.
ETA oh, yea, and the two sea bands. They're ugly (I used fancy pattern yarn conceptualized for a much longer repeat and some other gauge), but it was interesting making a pocket integral while knitting via a combination of short-row and double-knit. They probably won't be used, but it's served its purpose of getting DD over her extreme car-sickness problem. (She was getting sick driving to church).

Ceil, I make the slippers to sell. They are my favorite addiction. I can do them in my sleep!

47 comprised of the following (not a complete list)
15 pair of socks
8 mitts, mittens and wristers
4 hats (3 for my dad one didn't fit so my son scored it)
5 baby things 3 blankets, bootees, lace singlet
1 gansey
2 cardigans one still on needles, other steeked
2 pair felted slippers
1 tea Cosy
1 pair leg warmers
1 headband
1 pair piglet ears (sock toes set on an icord headband)
1 ballet bun cover
1 shrug from cut up tee shirts
3 wash cloths
and one knitted knitting needle just because I was being silly
not nearly enough :)
1 mini sampler shawl in cotton now in use as a bread basket liner

I'm very impressed with eveyrbody's efforts and productivity with their favorite crafts. I have made a total of 46 items but the bulk of them were small items. Here is my list:
Hats= 11 (my goal was 15 to 20) but I'm happy with this.
Scarf=3 ( I did not have any set goals for this project).
Shawl=2
Coaster=30
What is most important is that I enjoyed making the items and I'm happy and thankful that I'm blessed to do this much.

I knit more this year than in the previous two combined... yet have very little to show for it!
1 pair Maine Morning mitts (finished on 1/1/09)
1 pair Hedgerow mitts
1 Willow Herb mitten (too small, awaiting frogging) from Riivillia kit
4 hats (one of them knit twice)
1 lace scarf
1 shawl
6 bird ornament/cat toys
I made a promise to myself at the Retreat that I would try to knit every single day, even if it was just a few stitches. So far, so good!

My very short list:
1 - Girasole afghan
4 - pairs of socks
2 - hats
1 - scarf
I feel like there must be more but either my memory is very short term or maybe my reading through knitting books just made me feel like I was knitting.
Non-knitting accomplishments (took time away from the knitting):
8,000 miles on my bicycle
Continued going through bins in the basement (one year after moving), only a few more to go...

I forgot on my FO tally the Tbear (turtle bear) that I made. I just made up the pattern. It was the first time that I tried amigurumi. I called it Turtle Bear because he was shaped like a turtle, only, he did not have a hard shell lol.
