Thanks for the tips - I always make a photo copy of the pattern and write tons of notes. I guess my problem is that I can't read my notes and/or I don't remember what I was trying to say. I can read my knitting but it seams like I have to learn the pattern repeat all over again.
Guess I'll just stick to my 1 or 2 projects at a time.

LOL! Carol, I understand your reluctance to have a bunch of projects going. I seem to worry about one project while I'm working on another!!! At this writing, I still have 3 WIP, and can't wait to finishe them all. I'm just CALMER when I don't have a bunch of projects lying around.
I guess I'm in the minority, eh?? :)

Oh gosh, mine are uncountable. I have so many that are just sitting there, waiting for me to weave in the ends notably KP's tulip socks). A coat from last year's holiday VK. Another pair of socks. Working on designing a pair of lace gloves with Sea Silk. Almost finished designing a cardigan. About five scarves/shawls...
And yet, I still want to start more.

Huh, I didn't see this topic subject until now--I just posted to another one saying how many things I have going. I'm afraid to count, but my best guess would be around 15. I have to admit, it keeps me from getting bored when I can switch between projects. Plus, has anyone ever put a project down for so long that when you come back to it it feels new and exciting?! Love that. And the real key is keeping track of every row you do on a major project, like a sweater. I keep an index card with it and mark every row, including little symbols for shaping and what not. It works.

OK, what do you do when you have 3 projects that call for a size 7 circular set, and you have one project with the Denise size 7, one project with a set of Addi size 7, and you still need another pair of circulars??? Do I just keep saving my pennies to get numerous pairs in the same size? What do YOU girls do??? *deep sigh*

Hi Robyn,
It's shameful how many needles I have in DP's 2 and 3 and in circular 5's and 6's.
Now that I have the knitpicks interchangeables I have several extra tips in the 4,5,6. I may need to get more because all my 5's are in use (even the bamboos.) Yeah, I know, maybe I should finish something :)

Robyn, you need to finish one of the other size 7, she says. This is from someone that has way too many projects on the needles and is in the same predicament. In fact I was looking thru a mag and saw this cute sweater and I thought what a cute sweater, then remembered I had it on the needles. So I went and pulled it out, I must finish it.
