Finishing a sweater is absolutely my favorite part of knitting!

There, you've met the one and only.

Actually, I think there are lots of knitters who enjoy this step. I think it's a matter of relaxing, taking a deep breath and being patient with yourself. It's almost a Zen exercise for me.

You put so much work and money into making something by hand that it deserves the very best job you can do to make it look as good as it can.

Thanks for the link to! I just finished my first pieceed sweater, a bolero in a slick cotton. I have no desire to learn seaming on this garment! I emailed her on a quote; even at $30 it's a steal, especially considering time spent dreading it.
