Of all of Lion's yarns, the Incredible is the nicest - and it's so nice to knit with - don't use bamboo - use aluminum or your Addi's.
Sally Melville's "shape it scarf" from her first book comes out great in Incredible - you only need 3 balls...$15.00 for a beautiful and easy-to-make-gift. |

| I've decided I'll never use slippery ribbon again. I used Party (Crystal Palace?) to make a shrug, and while the finished project looked nice, I had a heck of a time weaving in ends or knots because they kept slipping out. I frogged it after I finished it, and made a scarf. The scarf, on smaller needles, turned out to have spectacular drape and a tight stretch. But, this time, I fastened all my ends with a needle and thread so I didn't have to worry about anything working itself out. |

| I dont buy ribbon yarn. I never have, and probably wont. When I first started knitting, I bought ! ball of yarn. I was like fever. I ran out that night. I searched the house, desparate, and what did I find. Ribbon, ORdinary crafting ribbon. The 1/8 in works up nicely on size 7 or 8 needles and feels... amazing. Its not soft-cuddly teddy bear amazing, but it would be great for a shrug or accent scarf. It's cool on the skin and feels crisp. It also holds it shape, if you spray it with a little starch, You can mold it just like wire, but it stays smooth & feminie feeling. If it were a taste, It would be exactly like those frozen lemonades at a baseball game. |
