Usually I get an hour or so in on the evenings, because it's relaxing and I can help myself get to sleep that way. On the weekends I do much more and when I was sick this week I got 5 hours in on one day. Way to be sick! I also knit during sacrament meeting (church) and sometimes at other church activities so if there are a few going on then I'll get lots done.

I manage 1-2 hours per evening Monday to Friday, while watching TV,and sometimes get to knit for longer periods of time over the weekends.

I would love to know how you do that so I can combine my two hobbies! |

I get an average of an hour a night on weeknights and probably 6 or 7 hours total on weekends. I used to get more when I watched TV, but now not so much.

I get a lot more knitting done now that my lap top computer is broken. I try to knit at least an hour at work -- either during lunch or while reading (I read and comment on long scientific reports) or while waiting for my computer to do its thing. When I walk or bus to work, that adds another hour. I then try to get at least an hour each evening. Easy during pro football or soccer because my dd watches too. My kids are less tolerant of baseball, college football and hockey.
So, on a good day, I should get 3 hours minimum, 6 hours on the weekends. Then there are the fully interupted days where I am lucky to get 15 minutes. I figure it is a good rest for my hands anyway.

I squeesh (is that a word?)in about 15 minutes between clients during the day, so that's about 1 1/2 hours and then sometimes another hour at night. The weekends mean 2-4 hours per day.. so all together about 12 hours/week. although last weekend I took my knitting to a continuing ed workshop and knit ALL DAY right through the workshop. There were at least three-five other knitter there too!

Well, like everyone else, it depends on how much life and 'mom things' interfere. Usually at least an hour each weekday, and up to 6 hours a day on weekends.

Yet another sports knitter here (go Canucks!!!). I usually get TONS of knitting done on Sundays thanks to the NFL. During the week, probably 1-2 hours a night, depending on how much TV I watch and what else I might be up to (sewing, perusing recipes, just plain passing out in front of said TV). SO always gets a chuckle out of me knitting while drinking a beer and yelling at some mungled football play... a juxtaposition of two stereotypes I suppose! :-)

Can you really knit while walking to work Carol?

Usually about an hour during the weekday and maybe and hour or two in the evening. Hopefully about three hours on Saturdays and Sundays. More if I am riding in the car while DH drives.

I knit every day, but varies with what other projects I have going on. I seem to knit a lot more seasonally. I get the real urge in the fall tog et all unfinshed projects out and knit a lot. I get gardening bug in the spring. |
