Here's a picture of my cotton rippled afghan which is coming down to the wire for completion! Even though this baby has taken up scads of yarn (albeit,it is crocheting), it's been well worth it.

I'm using Mission Falls 1824 cotton in an array of colors picked by Moi at random and a size J hook since I crochet on the tighter side. Strangely enough, this yarn has a lightweight feel to it, especially since it's cotton and I always thought that I'd never crochet a cotton afghan, thinking that it might be too weighty. [!] Not so with this gem, and I can't wait till it's done.

very pretty. I can't help but like the ripple patterns, maybe because my grandma crocheted so many and they bring back good memories.
Keep knitting, this too shall pass. |
