Okay, I have knit so many of these and the pair I have been personally wearing for 2-3 years (which I put soles on) have finally eroded away. So, I knit up a new pair and the right one felt more than the left!! I worked with it, actually both of them, and then put the soles on............I don't like 'em.........they aren't my old pair!!! Am I going to have any success at all if I moisten them and attempt to stretch or mold them the way I want??? If it weren't winter I would wear them around the house while they were damp....but if it weren't winter I probably would not be missing and wanting them!!!!
I will probably just knit a new pair..............

I think those clogs are supposed to mold to the shape of your foot as you wear them, which explains why they don't feel as good as your old pair! Try wearing them for a week and then decide!!
And yes...dampening them and shaping them would work too but I still think you need a few days of molding to your foot.
My old felted slippers now have a distinct left and right - which they didn't have right after I made them. Just wear yours a while and they'll form to your feet. I know what you mean about missing the old ones though. I hate breaking in new shoes/slippers.
