My son joined the Navy this summer, but doesn't ship out until January, so this Christmas will be our last with him in the usual way. I thought it would be neat to make him a pillow with a Navy logo or something related on it. Something simple to take with him after boot camp, and to enjoy before he leaves.
Any suggestions?

I made once once using the signal flags to spell out a message. It looked great and you had to know what the flags meant to get the message. I used the word welcome, but it could be home, or love, or hello or any other message.
