The Braided Cable socks call for 4 more rows in the leg and 4 more in the foot than the other pairs. Won't this make them bigger?

I would think so. But the cables will pull them in some. I read these patterns occasionally but have not made any of them yet.

Well, I just finished the 24th row (where the other patterns say to start the heel) and I really don't see what the point would be of doing 4 more rows. So, I'm going to leave them out. I really want all 3 pairs to be the same size, and I don't like the way the instructions say to give just this pair 4 rows of stockinette before the heel instead of 1 like the other cabled pairs.
