I would like to start a log cabin blanket but do not have the Mason -Dixon book with me. I do have all the yarn, that I remembered to bring. My question is do I cut the yarn and re-attach each time I change colors or do I somehow carry it with me. I just can't remember that section. I would appreciate anyone's help. Donna |

I am making this blanket and cutting and re-attaching the yarn. The 'floats' would get to be too long if I didn't. I'm knitting in the ends as I go.

Thanks, I will do just that. How many colors are you using? I started with 4 but then I was looking at Sally Melvile's color book and she has a similar blanket that uses many more colors, I think I wil go shopping tomorrow. Donna |

I'm using leftover sock yarn, and am using any and all sock yarn I can find (yes, I'm insane). I've had several people send me their sock yarn odds and ends, so if anyone reading this has bits and bobs of sock yarn let me know...I'd love to get it and would be happy to reimburse you. PM or email me!
