Very nice! I tried to make this and it turned out big enough for a bowling ball, didn't check the gauge... tsk. Did you make it in 4 sections or 5?

I just made it with 3 actually. I didn't double up the yarn and I knit it on 5mm ndls, but the brioche stitch yields more rows per inch than the original garter.
