I just saw on the Independent Film Channel the movie about Dorothy Parker's life, I think it was called The Algonquin Circle. They showed her knitting while observing the filming of some of her screenplays. I wonder if it helped her to write better.

Now that my kids are grown I've been trying to make an art of being lazy. I find I have an apptitude for it. So while it is true you can be witty & smart and knit...you can also be lazy, play dumb and get even more knitting done (huge happy knitting grin!) Crystal
