Good luck, mokey, and count me in! I know I can sqeeze at least a face cloth into my Christmas knitting!! Who's with us on this?!
Okay, I have now officially overdone the exclamation points quotient for the day. I will quietly go and feed my cats and myself.

I can vouch for how lousy the synthetics are! They make you sweat like crazy which makes everything worse. And nothing seems to be made for real human bodies.

I am reading this on Sept 4th. Your initial message says you will be shipping by end of September.
I won't be able to contribute until October. Do you plan a second shipment?
Helmet Liners would be my choice of project. Would need to know exactly what colours are acceptable.

Hi Mokey,
Could you send me address for the knitted items? I constantly knit face cloths during car rides (as a passenger) or in Drs. offices and have about 20+ ready to go. Would like to try my hand at helmet liners and presume one could use pattern on the U.S. site?? I think this is a great project. We need to let our troops know that we are thinking of them. |
