good morning
by now some of you know that i am terrified of lace knitting.
so for fun i looked up some harder knitted lace and i found cats paw lace
now i dont but this could be written in russian for all that i understood
has anyone actually made this pattern.

It's a very common and fairly simple pattern that could be written in Russian, as it's a standard in Oremburg shawls...

It's not a hard stitch pattern, go for it!

is this an online pattern or in a common book? It might be easier to comment on if we knew WHICH cat's paw lace item you were talking about.

If it is the traditional cat's paw pattern then you shouldn't have too much trouble with it. Let us know if there are any specific instructions or stitches that you don't understand.

I made a shawl once using this stitch pattern. It is easy to memorize after awhile.
