So true! I spent the last two years using knitting to help me get through some sorrowful times, and now I knit with joy! Better times:) Good Luck to you and your mom, Amy

Wishing you and mom luck, too. Does she live with you? Alone?

It turns out that at this age, diabetes is really common, since the body is just running down.

Good luck with managing Mom's health!

Going to He** for buying sock yarn during Lent, but at least my feet won't be cold.

I want to good luck with your mom. My mother (71), was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer on Dec.,9th, and died on Feb.l2th. Because of all the family that had to get here we held her funeral on the 20th. I was in the middle of working on a wonderful sweater during this time. But now I can't seem to pick it up and even touch it. I feel that if I can give myself some time I definately need to finish this project of all projects.I'm hoping that I can feel comforted once again when I can pick up the sweater. Gabby
