I have a full hank of this yarn (cantina colorway). It is spectacular. I got it on sale, but it was still quite the splurge. I want to turn it into something truly special. I've seen this pattern: http://www.yarnmarket.com/projects/Shawls,_Stoles_Wraps-Prism_Shawl_with_Touch_Me_Trim-275.html
but it doesn't speak to me.
Has anyone seen or made something they might point me towards?
I'd really appreciate it.
It's been a rough month at work, and I'd like to work with something colorful and exciting for a bit.
Thanks!

We have gals at our store that have been doing Prism based shawls for about a year now and are getting a minimum of $600 and up to $1ooo per shawl! They are usually purchased right off the back of the wearer.
They coordinate about 5 or 6 other yarns and ribbons in same colorways and just grab a ball and knit a few rows. No particular order and very random. You don't really need to follow a pattern- just cast on and knit to length you want. They really become works of art. KL

I knit a moebius shoulder wrap with (I think) half a ball, and it looks awesome.

Thanks for your suggestions; a moebius sounds like a really fun use of this yarn. Striping and twisting could look beautfiul with these colors.
And it would involve a new technique.
Kim, did you use one Cat Bordhi's books? There seem to be lots of free patterns floating around, but I'd like to do this up right if the book uses a better/more interesting way.

Yes, I did use Cat's book. I don't know if any free pattterns have Cat's moebius cast on, which results in the ability to knit the moebius from the inside out...there's no cast on edge. It is very cool. Other patterns might just have you 'twist' the circular cast on which isn't really a moebius.

Both her books have the cast on included, the shoulder wrap that I did was in the first book.
