Can anyone direct me to a felted beret pattern? I find plenty of rolled brim types, but no traditional beret.
I'd like to knit one up in Kureyon, and take advantage of that drape!

Hello, fellow Chicagoan!
There used to be a free pattern for a felted beret at lionbrand.com Unfortunately I can't find it at this moment/ It is probably worth looking for, though. Happy Knitting Karen W. in Chicago

Thanks, Karen. I found that one, but it had strange shaping at the brim. Perhaps I just need to take a leap of faith!
I have a mohair tam pattern, worked up on #7s. Perhaps I should just make the same thing, but on #10 or #11?

There is a beret in the Vogue "Felting on the Go" book. It is cute, I've made 2 but can't show a picture, I don't have a camera.
Also, you might try looking at: www.knittingpatterncentral.com
They have lots of free patterns. Good Luck

There is a really great pattern in this book if you get a chance to look at it.

I just recently bought three skeins of LionBrand's new "Wool" to try and there is a felted beret pattern on the back of each ball band. If you'd like, I'll send you one of the ball bands - PM me your address if you're interested.
