I saw Nicky Epstien today, and she had a bit of rant about her newest book.

first they 'pulled' some 50 patterns, when they returned them, (as per contract) they messed up many of the 'see page X links"

so if you are directed to 'See Page 52' for a special i-cord--it won't be there (is in the book, just not page 52!)

and they missed/made a mistake on one 'cabbage roses' patterns (the ones featured on the cover!) (who knows who? typesetters, editors, someone.

Vogue Knitting will have an Erratta page up in a week or so, and until then, trust me, Nicky is just as annoyed (maybe even more so, cause her name is on the book!) as you are.

Most of the errors are page references (see page 52 when you should really be looking at page 5X) and the stuff you are looking for is in the book, its just not exactly where you are told to look for it. and there are almost no pattern mistakes. (which really are extremely annoying!)
