Hi all, I have one skein of Noro Iro (75% wool, 25% silk). I think it would make a gorgeous little felted bag (very small, but very pretty). Has anyone tried felting Iro before? I really don't want to wreck the yarn- its a bit pricey. Thanks!

From my experience -- the silk just doesn't felt. The fabric becomes stiff and unpleasant (tried with Silk Garden) and doesn't reduce properly.
Iro is so lovely . . . maybe just do a little unfelted bag. Seed stitch is really nice in Iro I find, especially at a tighter gauge for handbags.
