I have a discontinued Rowan Dk yarn in Ecru: Edina Ronay. It's very soft and shiny, and I would like to make either a lace scarf, or a textured-cum-lace scarf that looks good on the off-white colour. Can anyone suggest a pattern? I want to use all of it, and I looked at Branching Out in Knitty.com, but it calls for thinner yarn and is a little too simple.

Sounds yummy! If you want to use it all up in one project, you may have enough for a small shawl or poncho. If you can't find a free pattern you like, try:

The weights and amounts of yarn required are given for most patterns and I've had great service from Angelika.
