Hi,
I'll be in Sydney for a month. Could someone recommend to me any ideal knitting shop that will offer reasonable prices.
Thanks.

Hi Celia,
Sorry for my late reply. Haven't got access to the net, not until now. I'm here in North Ryde. The nearest shopping mall is the Macquarie Shopping Complex. I haven't noticed a yarn shop there yet. Anyway, I'll be 'touring' the city tomorrow. Hope to bump onto a yarn shop there.

If you're going to the city, you'll find Tapestry Craft across the road from Dymocks on George St. You have to go up a very unpromising-looking laneway, but it's there. It you have transport, your nearest yarn shops to North Ryde are Rubi & Lana's in Gordon, Greta's in Lindfield and one in Pennant Hills (whose name I've forgotten).
Enjoy!
Julie.
